When you think of Hygiene, most patients think of a cleaning, which normally include the following services: the examination of your teeth to find decay, cavity-detecting radiographs, an assessment of your gum tissue, scaling and polishing teeth, screening for oral cancer, applying fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, brushing and flossing instruction, nutrition counseling, explanations of dental treatments, and answers to questions about future treatment. This is just a fraction of our Hygiene services. Our team is genuinely concerned for the heath and preservation of your teeth. Our hygienists are also trained in local anesthesiology, periodontal disease, diagnostic imaging, infection control, patient education and child hygiene.
Our Dental assistants are responsible for preparing patients for treatment and assisting the dentist during procedures. Each Assistant performs a variety of supportive dental procedures, such as taking impressions, operating our digital radiograph system, and performing polishing and fluoride applications after scaling and child hygiene.
Our Dental Assistants are here to make our patients comfortable and ensuring that the treatment rooms run smoothly. They are responsible for keeping everything on schedule by running everything as effective and efficient as possible. They truly want to help people achieve their goals of a lifetime of excellent oral health and understand how important those goals are. Our Administration team is comprised of a group of individuals that ensure everything about your dental experience is nothing but positive. This group is responsible for booking both hygiene and treatment appointments, confirming those appointments, checking patients in and out, answering the phone and all of your questions. They will help you communicate with your insurance company, help you understand your insurance coverage, take payments, and explain our treatment and associated fees.
